How to choose Water Filter/Purifier/Treatment?

What is clean drinking water?

WHO Guidelines for drinking-water quality

Drinking-water quality is an issue of concern for human health in developing and developed countries world-wide. The risks arise from infectious agents, toxic chemicalsand radiological hazards. Experience highlights the value of preventive management approaches spanning from water resource to consumer.

Why we need water filter/purifier/treatment?

Chlorine is the only known contaminant that most people know. Chlorine recently linked to cancer, heart desease, birth defect and many other serious illnesses.
Unfortunetly chlorine is not the only contaminant found in tap water; Mercury, Plumbum and many other hazardous chemicals including pesticide!

A recent Ralph Nader report stated, "After reviewing over 10,000 pages of EPA documents acquired through the Freedom Of Information Act... over 2100 chemicals that can cause cancer have been detected in U.S. tap water."

National Science Foundation (NSF) and Water Quality Association (WQA) is independent non-profit organization who provide test and certified water that safe to be taken.

Healthy clean water

A healthy clean water should naturally contain trace minerals such as magnesium, calsium, kalium etc. Small amount of trace minerals play big roles in our body system (only GOD knows). It also should clean from viruses, bacterias and micro-organisme living in the water.

What is Consumer Power?

CONSUMER POWER

All of us naturally born as a consumer regardless of religion, status, position or races.

The moment we born or even before we born until living in the grave, we still a consumer. We buy or somebody else buy things for us.

As normal distribution chain, we buy things from retail store. See below illustration:

Let say per person expenses per month for own used : $ 100
The whole country population (20-30million)
==> $ 100 x 20 million people = $ 2 000 000 00 /month

So who grab the market?
Big store like Jusco, Wal Mart, Tesco, Carrefour etc.

Whether we like it or not, we cannot run from this distribution channel of products supply.

This anyway money creates a huge business to people who understand the simple idea of making money.

So what option do we have?

If you have any ideas/comments, feel free to do so..

Public Franchise Vs Private Franchise

What is Franchise?
Most of us may familiar with this 'Franchise' word.
Generally it a business contract, right and privilege with one or more business unit with the parent of the company. Its an exclusive right to copy exactly and carry the same brand and method of doing business. When we talk about franchise, we cannot run from a system.
A good franchise business must have a good and proven system.
The parent of the business called as "Franchisor" and the childs called "Franchisee".
There are 2 types of franchise business:
1] Public Franchise
2] Private Franchise

1] Public Franchise

It is generally a publically traded. It is a big corporation who has large scale of business support and supply chain. The most popular example of public franchise is McDonald.

Normally to open a public franchise, it requires:

a] Capital -depend on the size of the business (big business = big capital)

b] Premise - need a place to do a business

c] Workers - its not a one man show business to generate big profit

d] Knowledge or know how - normally will be provided by franchisor

e] Contract - legally franchisee is bonded with term and regulation by the franchisor

2] Private Franchise

Most of us may not familiar with this concept. It an opposite to a traditional public franchise where it refer to people authorized by the company to provide products and services. He has more freedom to do the business compare to public franchise where they doesn't require you to have big capital, premise, workers and all those big thing but yet can have an opportunity to have big business. In private franchise, they can be a franchisee and franchisor as well not like public franchise where franchisee is always a franchisee.
